Prayer Guidance: (22/03/2011)
The Diocese has a number of Prayer Guides who have been trained in assisting others to use the Scriptures for prayer. On Mondays throughout Lent, Guides will be available at Thornhill Centre from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm for anyone who would like to avail of guidance. The Pope John Paul II Awards (01/03/2011)
4th Annual Award Ceremony for The Pope John Paul II Award: Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, retired Archbishop of Washington, DC will present the awards on Monday, 7th March for the Derry City and Inishowen Deaneries and on Tuesday, 8th March for the County Derry and Country Tyrone Deaneries. Both ceremonies will take place in the Millennium Forum and will commence at 7.30 pm. There are a limited number of tickets available - if you wish to attend please leave your name and address in the Parochial House as soon as possible.

Lenten Programme (01/03/2011)
In Omagh and the surrounding Parishes, we began our preparations in Advent 2010 for the 2012 Eucharistic Congress by reflecting on the first of the four parts of the Mass – the importance of the Gathering Rite.
In Lent 2011 we will reflect on the second part of the Mass, the Liturgy of The Word - listening to and hearing The Word of God. Our aim is to help deepen our understanding: that the Liturgy of The Word is a time when we as a community are formed, fed and guided by God's Word.
Our Lenten programme will be launched with four consecutive evenings in the Sacred Heart Church, Omagh, Mon 28th Feb – Thurs 3rd Mar at 7.30pm each evening.
